Does your child take part in any extra-curricular activities?

Is your child committed to an extra-curricular activity? Do they take part in sports outside of school? Do they dance? Or are they a keen artist? Or something similar? Are they constantly needing new equipment? Then the Griffin Sports and Arts fund might just be of interest . . .

The Sports and Arts Fund (SAF) was set up in 2018 for all pupils in Years 3 to 13 in the Trust to apply for support in funding extracurricular interests which they have already pursued for some time. The fund is not intended to support new interests but to help pay for better quality or higher standard specialist equipment that a student needs to take the skill to the next level.

We operate three windows of applications each academic year, and the latest has just opened! Applications can be submitted until May 21st.

We are so pleased that during the last application round, here at Bramford, we had 12 successful applications – so if your child is committed to their activity they might just be successful!  If you think this is something that you would like your child to apply for, they need to speak to their class teacher or Ms Duberley.

These are two of our previous success stories who were awarded Jazz shoes and Ballroom shoes.  We have also, had success with applications for motor cross gear, swimming equipment, musical instruments to name just a few! So get those applications in if you think you fit the criteria!!
