Friday 28th June was a really busy day at Bramford! As well as our Challenge 26 activities, each class were “exploring elephants”, exploring the arts of a country which is competing in the Euros 2021. The children demonstrated they were “creative chameleons”, enjoying a wide variety of dance, drama and art activities including making edelweiss from Austria, dancing in a silent disco to house music from Sweden, creating Miranda Carmen type headpieces from Portugal, eating yummy Belgian waffles with chocolate sauce and re-creating the Eiffel Tower and the Arc De Triomphe. It was lovely and inspiring to see such a range of activities taking place across the school. Children were so motivated to learn about their country and it was clear they were enjoying being ‘Go for it gorillas’ within their arts activities – We’re proud of our Griffins, in their eagerness to learn and willingness to push themselves out of their comfort zones!
