GST writing competiton winners

Thank you so much to all the students who entered the GST Story Competition this year – there were over 60 entries and the judges had an extremely difficult time in agreeing the winning entries. Thank you also to colleagues in school who supported the students with preparing and submitting their entries – the quality of the entries made them a pleasure to read.

The winning entries are as follows:

1st place – The Chinese Dragon, by Sam Reddin from Lordswood School

Joint 2nd place – The Emarty Party Chaos, by Emerson Szafranski from Park Lane School and The Golden Horse, by Rose Galloway from Lordswood School

Joint 3rd place – Day at the Festival, by Ben Parsons from Race Leys School and The Haunted Haggis, by Edith MacGregor from Riverley School

4th place – The Rio de Janeiro Carnival, by Amanda Silvester, from Nicholas Chamberlaine School

Highly Commended – The Trip Never Forgotten, by Ethan Payne from Bramford School

Congratulations to our very worthy winners!

Prizes and certificates will be sent out to schools at the beginning of September.

Well done ETHAN we are very proud of you and well done to all the winners and those that took part.
