A zoom with Adam Hills

We are always on the lookout for ways we can widen the horizons and encourage high achievement of our learners here at Bramford and today our some of our pupils took part in a zoom session with the author Adam Hills. He shared some of his book, “Rockstar Detectives” and answered questions from the audience. Our Griffins learnt how his daughters, his career as a comedian, and his love of music inspired his “Rockstar Detectives” book.

Year 6 pupils also took time out of their busy day to review his zoom session:

It was a mind-blowing experience! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Adam. We thought he was hilarious and very funny! He is an amazing comedian – he told hilarious jokes throughout the entire call and made us laugh.

Adam read us a few chapters of his book, which was fabulous, inspiring and unique. We were shocked at how he made the story seem alive, as if it was really happening.

His new book, “Rockstar Detectives” is highly interesting and he engaged every student. He really inspired us to become authors ourselves and write better in school and at home and he inspired us to be comedians too!
