Our young Griffins were very excited when the Firefighters came to visit Reception. They learnt about what they do and the special clothes they wear. They were lucky enough to try on some of their equipment. It was very heavy!
They had chance to look around the fire engine and even got to climb inside the vehicle to have a look round. Some pupils even got to use the water hose. The children had a fantastic time, asking lots of questions to find out about what itās like to be a firefighter.
The firefighters had to rush off to a call out and pupils got to hear the siren as they drove off!
