Finally, after nearly two years, and a couple of false starts, Bramford children were able to compete in a âliveâ event against 20 other schools and over 150 children and it was definitely worth the wait.
After a final course inspection, following storm Dudley, 12 Year 5 and 6 children took part in a tough cross country course around Summerhill school and we are SO PROUD of their achievements.
Despite limited opportunity to train our children produced some really impressive performances with our boys team finishing 7th overall and our girls 9th giving an overall team finish of 9th.
Our top Bramford boy was Billy who came an incredible 7th in the individual boys race. You have a great future ahead of you Billy.
Our first Bramford girl was Jess who not only produced a great race but also had the time to show Bramford values by encouraging her race companion to complete the race and supporting her to the finish. Well done Jess for demonstrating what sport is all about.
