Happy Founders Day!
What an end to the half term! Today, we have celebrated Founders Day along with all of our other GST schools, and we have focused on saying thank you to people in our local area who help and support us in a variety of ways. We said a huge thank you to our Bramford Parents and Friends Association for the many ways they support our Griffins with trips, equipment and events. We also said a massive thank you to Mr. Siviter for his help both in the school environment but also in the invaluable role he plays when trips are organised.
The theme for all of our events this year is Imagine and the children have explored the theme in various ways. Year 6 explored Imagine through science, discussing topics such as Imagine if…there was no sport, there was no bitcoin, there were no cars, there were no clocks, etc.Ā We had very lively debates!
Pupils have really enjoyed raising money for our 3 local charities and throughout the day, children have had the opportunity to purchase a cake and a book. EYFS and Year 1 have wowed us with their animal outfits and have loved taking part in the Founders Day activities. A massive thank you to everyone for all your donations. We really appreciate your support.
