Today was an important day organised by our Anti â Bullying Ambassadors and one we hope to be the beginning of a new Proud Tradition â Compliments Day. The day was organised by our Ambassadors as part of their role to look after the wellbeing of their peers. The idea came when they were looking for ways to raise self-esteem and help their friends feel good about themselves. The Ambassadors wanted children to be kind to each other and to spread positivity throughout our Bramford Family. During the day, the children were allowed to write compliments on each otherâs t-shirts. It has been lovely to see all the children around school not only wearing their t-shirts with pride, but their smiles too as they shared all of their wonderful compliments. Compliments such as: âI love the way your eyes shineâ, âYou are the best friend I could ever ask forâ and âYou make my dayâ were just a few of the nice things the children wrote about each other. Down in Early Years the children made compliments t-shirts on paper, drew pictures showing how to be kind to one another, played âPass the Smileâ and made friendship bands and hats for each other.
Hopefully, the children keep these t-shirts and memories for years to come to remind themselves just how amazing they all are!
