This week in Geography, Year 5 are putting our learning into action by measuring daily rainfall as part of our physical Geography topic. This links perfectly with our work on the water cycle, cloud types, and weather conditions.
Using rain gauges the children made for Prep4Learn, we’re recording the amount of precipitation each day in centimetres. With a wet week ahead, it’s the perfect chance to become weather detectives and see which day brings the most rain! We’re excited to analyse our results, reflect on our findings, and deepen our understanding of how weather affects our environment.
