World Book Day 2025

By 12 March 2025March 17th, 2025No Comments
Once again, our Bramford Griffins demonstrated their love of books and reading on World Book Day 2025.  A vast variety of costumes from books and comics were worn, prompting some excellent discussions about different characters and storylines.
Thank you to all those who helped the children choose their characters and helped to put together their costumes.  Particular favourites this year were: Paddington Bear, The Ladybird (from What the Ladybird Heard) a number of scary witches from different traditional tales, a suitably cuddly Winnie the Pooh, Dorothy (from The Wizard of Oz) several famous footballers (both male and female), the ever-popular Mary Poppins and Gru and his amazing group of Year 6 Minions.
It was good to see all aspects of reading represented – remember that a love of reading stems from, books, comics, non-fiction books and indeed poetry!  Well done Bramford, you certainly know how to celebrate and demonstrate your love of reading!
