Wow! We can all say weâve met a Gold Olympic Medallist today! And what an awe inspiring lady she was. Becky Adlington spoke to us about her life and how she came to be the World Record breaking swimmer that she is today. Children then had the opportunity to ask her some well thought out questions which Becky carefully answered. As Griffins we felt privileged to have Becky visit us at Bramford. A year 6 pupil said, âI thought Rebeccaâs talk was inspiring because she made me feel I could be an Olympic Champion tooâ. Another pupil said, âafter Rebeccaâs talk I was inspired to become more fluent in swimming in hope to be like her somedayâ. What a special afternoon widening our horizons!
