On 24th March, Bramford competed in a mixed Year 5/6 tournament at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC’s training ground, Compton. Over 30 schools competed on the day, with lots of high quality football on show.
Bramford started off with a draw, followed by 2 wins. We headed into the final game knowing a draw would send us through to the semi-finals. But, after a hard fought game, we suffered a 1-0 loss, leaving us joint top of the table with 7 points.
After an anxious wait, we were told we had missed out on the semi-finals by one goal. Even though we were disappointed, we are very proud of how well we did on the day.
Well done boys and girls, you made all of Bramford proud!
