After a very early start and a huge breakfast, our Griffins travelled to Birmingham Royal Ballet School for a music and dance workshop based on the ballet “Still Life at the Penguin Café”, a ballet that explores animals that are endangered.
Our Creative Chameleons created musical pieces based on a chosen animal which were excellently prepared and thought out, and then devised dances using elements of the penguin motifs of the ballet. It was also wonderful to see our pupils working together with our other Griffin family members.

Wow! What a phenomenal play! Our griffins’ comments included:

“Great actors who showed their true emotions.”

Mrs Taylor, Miss Copson and Miss Buirch’s ears have just about recovered from the extremely loud screams! Our GAF Griffins then went back to Nicholas Chamberlain for an evening performance of “Matilda” by NCS students.
It has been a fabulous day!
