Last week, Bramford celebrated the Hispanic culture with a whole day of Spanish activities! Year 5 experienced many exhilarating activities that allowed the children to deepen their understanding of the Spanish culture and language. The children were able to explore the life and works of Picasso. Following this, the children designed and created their very own pieces of artwork that shadowed the cubism art movement, carefully thinking about colour and spatial arrangement of facial features.
Whilst in Year 6, they studied the Spanish artist Joan MirĆ³ and created their own artwork in his style, using lines and shapes to create abstract pieces of art. They also found Spanish landmarks on the map and practiced their Spanish language skills ā Ā”muy bien!
