It was a very arts-busy week at Bramford last week.
As part of our GST Shakespeare Festival, Year 5 Newton have been practicing a section of “A Comedy of Errors” with Miss Clarke, our drama teacher. They travelled to Perry Wood to perform their piece alongside our other West Midlands Hub schools. They acted with confidence, dramaticism and maturity, and shared the story brilliantly.
Also, 5 Newton performed it again for our Bramford community.
Our Glee Club which meets on a Monday after school, led by Catherine Reynolds from DPA, were invited to take part in the Dudley Performing Arts “Festival of Song”. It was a phenomenal evening. Again, our children sang and danced with such vigour and enthusiasm, it was a joyous evening and it really had a festival feel to it.
Well done to both groups of children – we are very proud of you and you should be Proud Peacocks too!
