“Nuestra Familia” – Our Family
As part of Founders Day, our Year 6 Griffins were true Slinky-Linky Snakes linking the theme of “Family” to their Spanish and RE work.
Firstly, Year 6 explored family vocabulary in Spanish, learning key words and phrases to name their family. Next, they explored the psychology of colours being associated with feelings and emotions. They chose members of their family and used colours to describe them.
As a school, we created a GST family tree. Each of our Griffins created a finger print which was used in our tree. As the sign says, we are very proud of our Griffin family.
