As part of one of their Prep for Learning projects, our Griffins in 5 Newton became phenomenal water quality scientists and explored ways to ‘Ditch the Dirt’, creating a water filter to be used in areas suffering droughts and experiencing a scarcity of fresh water.
They have effectively used their knowledge of separating material processes from science to design, create and evaluate their filters.
