Our Year 2 Griffins went back to 1666 last week. They watched as Mr Siviter recreated the Great Fire of London on the school field using the models the children made in class. The fire started (just as it did in 1666) in the bakery and spread along Pudding Lane. The fire spread really quickly because the houses were very close together and the wind was blowing. The children were amazed at just how quickly the fire spread.
