Pupils in Year 2 have been learning about the famous astronaut Neil Armstrong who was the first person to walk on the Moon. In their D&T lessons they designed and made a lunar buggy for Neil and his friends to travel across the Moon’s dusty bumpy surface. Here are some pictures of the chassis and the finished lunar buggies. The children tested their chassis to make sure they were constructed correctly before building the buggy on the chassis.
