Year 2 enjoyed an exciting and informative visit to Selly Manor in Bournville before February half term. They found out lots of information about the Great Fire of London, which will be the focus of their history topic this half term.
They looked at building materials of the period, clothing of the period and important people who were alive at the time of the great fire. They also practised the skill of using artefacts as evidence to find out what it was like in the past. They decided it wouldn’t have been very pleasant walking around London in 1666!
