Before February half term, Year 6 had a very busy, magical few days, visiting the wizarding Warner Brothers Studios as part of their “You’re a wizard, Harry” Creative Curriculum theme.
It was a truly breath-taking moment as we entered the Great Hall, just as Harry, Hermione and Ron would have done as they entered Hogwarts for the first time.
Our Griffins explored: original costumes, authentic props and walked through areas such as Diagon Alley, Gringotts Bank and the new greenhouse belonging to Professor Sprout, all helping to bring J.K.Rowling’s books to life. We were especially lucky as the “Magical Mischief” event was still running so we saw special effects throughout our day.
It was an amazing experience and one which we hope will inspire the children further to become Creative Chameleons and Innovative Iguanas in their work.
